nexoDev LLC ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use the Expiry Date Manager mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

The core functionality of the Expiry Date Manager App is designed with your privacy in mind. We minimize the data we collect.

a. Local Data Storage

All data you enter into the App (including item names, expiry dates, quantities, notes, and barcodes) is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store this personal data on our servers.

b. Device Permissions

• Camera Permission: The App requires access to your device's camera solely for the purpose of scanning barcodes. The scanning process happens locally on your device, and images are not saved, transmitted, or shared by us.
• Notifications: The App asks for permission to send you local push notifications to remind you of expiring items. These notifications are generated locally on your device.

c. Third-Party Services (Advertising)

The App uses a third-party service, Google AdMob, to provide advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and use certain information to provide personalized ads.

• Advertising ID: Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (such as the Android Advertising ID) and other device-level information to serve relevant ads.

2. How Your Information is Used

Because your user data (items, dates, etc.) remains on your device, we do not use it. The camera and notification permissions are used strictly to provide the App's core functionality (scanning and alerts).

Data collected by Google AdMob is used by Google to provide, maintain, and improve advertising services.

3. Data Deletion and Retention

You have full control over your data. Because all personal data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by:

• Using the "Delete All Data" option within the App's Settings menu.
• Uninstalling the App from your device or clearing the App's storage/cache via your device's system settings.

4. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. Note that the App is designed for a general audience, and AdMob is configured to display ads appropriate for a general audience.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
